A basic amount of life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment insurance is provided to the employee at NO cost through the Commonwealth of Kentucky Plan. An employee can purchase supplemental life and AD&D insurance coverage, at group rates, on a voluntary post-tax basis. Supplemental life insurance can be purchased at 1x or 2x annual salary.
Spouse and Dependent coverage are available for purchase.
Regular full-time employees working 100 hours per month receive this benefit. |

UK Benefits AD&D |
A basic amount of life insurance at 1 X salary is provided to the employee at NO cost. Supplemental life insurance may be purchased under the group plan at 1x, 2x, or 3x annual salary on a post-tax basis. You may purchase and additional 1X, 2X, 3X, 4X or 5X your salary. AD&D coverage up to $375,000 may be purchased for the employee or the employee and family on a post-tax basis. The employee pays any premiums for optional life or AD&D coverage.
Eligible employees may add sponsored dependents to their AD&D coverage.
Spouse and Dependent coverage are available for purchase.
Regular full-time employees and .75 fte receive this benefit. |
