KCTCS president announces appointments

VERSAILLES, Ky. (January 19, 2005) -- Michael B. McCall, president of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, has announced two appointments to provide leadership in marketing and communications and government relations for KCTCS.

Terri Giltner has joined KCTCS as the System Director of Marketing and Communications. She most recently served in state government as the Director of the Kentucky Division of Creative Services.

Giltner holds a bachelor's degree in communications and journalism from the University of Kentucky and a master's in business administration degree from Indiana University.

Also, McCall announced that Lori A. Davis, Esq. will serve as the Director of Governmental Affairs for KCTCS. Under her new duties in the Office of Institutional Advancement she will direct KCTCS advocacy efforts at the local, state, and federal level.

Davis formerly served as an administrative law judge for the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services.

Davis received a bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati and a law degree from the University of Tennessee.
