Official KCTCS Colors
Logo Colors
The Kentucky Community and Technical College System's colors are blue and gold. The
preferred shade of blue used in all publications is Pantone Matching System No. 288 and
the gold is Pantone Matching System No. 124. When printed in only one color, the logo
should be printed in PMS 288 blue or black. It may not be screened. However, it may be
reversed to white out of black or other colors. Please Note: Metallic Gold (PMS 8962)
may be substituted for Pantone 124.
Seal Colors
The Kentucky Community and Technical College System Seal's colors are blue and gold. The

System Guidelines
Nomenclature
Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) is the name of the statewide
system. When written of or spoken about for the first time you must use the entire name.
After initial use you may use the acronym KCTCS.
In Marketing Communications:
Always use the full name when first referenced. For example:
