Joseph B. Wise, III, D.B.A., lives in Louisville, Kentucky, where he is the Business Manager, Secretary – Treasurer for the Greater Louisville Building and Construction Trades Council, AFL-CIO. He has experience with empirical research, project costing, human resources, quality control, budgeting, establishing financial controls, and contract negotiations. He holds three degrees in business administration: a bachelor’s degree (cum laude) from Spalding University, a master’s degree from Bellarmine College, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. In June 2007, Dr. Wise was elected to a second term as KCTCS Board of Regents Vice Chair. Prior to becoming Board Vice Chair, he served as Board Secretary for two terms. Dr. Wise is a member of the Executive Board of the Greater Louisville Building and Construction Trades Council and the Leadership Louisville Class of 1999. He is a delegate of the Greater Louisville Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO. Dr. Wise’s term on the Board of Regents ends in 2009.
