Disability Training - ADA

Since the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act in 1990, employers are more aware of the need to provide accommodations for employees with disabilities. Employees with disabilities are recognized as part of the new diverse population in the workplace. A truly diverse workplace embraces and values the individual differences between people, offering opportunities for all employees to achieve their full potential.

PURPOSE/GOAL OF THE PROGRAM

The program is designed and conducted by KCTCS Human Resources staff to increase awareness and understanding among employees of Americans with Disabilities, and develop skills among faculty and staff that will facilitate enhanced productivity and communications.
