KMSS Practice Test

• The KMSS Practice Test is available online and is designed to give the individual test taker an opportunity to determine how they would do on the actual KMSS or will provide an opportunity for those interested in the KMSS to see what the actual test is like. The KMSS Practice Test is free and available 24/7.

KMSS Basic Level Assessment

• The Basic Level Assessment is designed to indicate an individual's preparation and basic skill level for entry into general manufacturing occupations. The assessment is available online and by paper/pencil version only in Approved KMSS Assessment Centers. The assessment is comprised of 120 multiple choice/scenario based questions.

  
  

KMSS Advanced Level Assessment

• The Advanced Level Assessment is designed to indicate an individual's preparation and basic skill level for entry into high performance manufacturing occupations. The assessment is available online and by paper/pencil version only in Approved KMSS Assessment Centers. The assessment is comprised of 120 multiple choice/scenario based questions.

KMSS Targeted Instruction Curriculum

• The KMSS Targeted Instruction Curriculum is currently under final pilot and will also be available as an online tool as well. The curriculum is designed to provide remediation and support to individual testtakers who want to prepare for or retake the assessment to achieve a passing score. Specific training is available through KCTCS CED services and other state agencies and partnerships. The curriculum content is organized around the basic emphasis areas of the KMSS.
